Our loss adjustor client contacted us to carry out an arboricultural report as part of an investigation of suspected clay shrinkage subsidence damage.
The subject property had damage which had occurred to the front of the house. A check was carried out with Bradford City Council prior to our consultants visit and we were informed that there were no Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) in force and that the property was not situated within a conservation area.
A total of 11 items of vegetation were surveyed. Our consultant identified that 2 x Laburnum trees were found to be contributing to the damage observed at the subject property. Our consultant therefore recommended that these trees be removed to ground level, and their stumps be treated to prevent regrowth.
