We were instructed by our client to carry out a Safety Condition Survey at a tree located on their property in Sheffield.
A TPO (Tree Preservation Order) check was carried out with Barnsley Metropolitan Council prior to our consultants visit and we were informed that the site was in a conservation area.
In total, one individual tree was surveyed and was generally found to be in good condition. As the tree was relatively close to the property (tree’s crown approximately 1.5 metres from the property roof), our consultant recommended a crown thin of 15 to 20% and were a matter of low priority.
